A little achilles.....

...goes a long way in our family it seems. Just picked up my mother from hospital following her second achilles operation. By now she is a veteran of the 6-week 'awkward cast and crutches' post-op routine....

Are achilles problems genetic? Anyone out there have an answer to that one? I'm just coming off a 6-week layoff myself for the same problem...not one iota of exercise since the end of August (very upsetting)...maybe I'm going down the same road as dear old mum :)

I'm not a hypochondriac btw !
