Irish Cup excitment...

....aplenty last weekend as we overcame Cork C of I to reach the last 8 of the Irish Junior Cup. 1-1 after normal time we had to play extra-time golden goal and finally got the winner a couple of minutes into the second period of extra time.

I haven't felt so tired, cold and mentally drained after a game for a long old time, I think it was in part due to the long wait for the game (3pm), extra time, getting soaked by the pitch watering system which only heightened anger levels at having to play extra time in the first place.

At least we are at home for the 1/4 finals; hosting either Pegasus or Banbridge on Feb 24.

And tonight, it's back to the league action with a potentially finger-numbing game against Corinthians in the Dublin mountains!
