I LOVE Singstar...

.....the karaoke game on Sony Playstation! Not having a single note in my head and capable of singing along to songs at a pitch that only dogs and cats could appreciate, it was with initial reluctance that I took to the mic on Friday last during our 2nds end-of-season bash. Naturally upset that there was not a single Abba song on the playlist, Aoife and I decided to sing duet and proceeded to massacre 'Suspicious Minds'....

With more Sauvignon blanc on board I wailing-ly managed to reinterpret and rework such hits as 'No Woman, No Cry', 'Buttercup' and 'I Think We're Alone Now'. Una was scarily impressed by my lyrical stylings and she insisted we sing karaoke again soon - nothing to do with the giant bucket of Pimms she had consumed over the course of the evening!

Apparently Sylvia's neighbours are well used to this caterwauling, and we did diplomatically call an early end to proceedings by heading for Club 92.

Earlier in the evening Wally presented the team awards, amongst which included 'Quote of the Season', 'Wally's Mum's Favourite', 'Team Media Whore' and the 'Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde' player.
