Building the 'ARK'

....seemed like quite a good option to escape the numerous downpours this week. For most of the week we've had despressing, overcast skies, punctuated with monsoon-esque rainshowers. Hey, it's June in Ireland, this is what summer is all about....I actually suspect that if global warming escalates this is the kind of weather we are in for - humid, overcast and rainy :(

Not too much going on this week - save for me using my trick of 'graduated propping' to get a good nights sleep as I am suffering the effects of a cold and sore throat.

Surfing was great fun - when we eventually got some waves, which was Sunday morning. I tested my Lidl wetsuit and it was great; unfortunately my surfing wasn't all that great but after the excess Guinness drinking of Friday and Saturday it was great to get a good dunking in the ocean.
