My library borrowing habits

Having only recently gotten my act together and joined my local library I got to thinking about what books I have so far borrowed would say about me should anyone decide they needed to monitor my reading habits.

This thought occurred to me yesterday as I was returning a book (Watching the Door, by Kevin Myers) and checking out 5 books. Presumably someone out there monitors library borrowing patterns, or maybe I am living in an X-Files universe...

Anyhoo, the books I ended up borrowing were:

• Everything Bad is Good - Steven Johnson
• Talking with Serial Killers - Christopher Berry-Dee
• Does Anything Eat Wasps? - NewScientist
• Republican Like Me - Harmon Leon
• Marathon - The Ultimate Runner's Guide - Hal Higdon

So far I have been ensconced in Marathon and am now definitely going to run the Dublin City Marathon in October.
