It's the little things...

Last Friday, in preparation for a weekend triple header of hockey (2 games on Sat and 1 game on Sun), I purchased a bag of yummy Haribo Cola Bottles - the perfect between-game sugar hit, and put safely them into my hockey bag.

I then had a surprise, and very welcome, visit from my sister Pamela who breezed in, brewed up a pot of tea and enquired as to the availability of an accompanying biscuit. Receiving the bad news of 'no biscuits', she then announced how nice it would be to have some sweets while watching TV, so I relented and gave her the bag I was saving for hockey. Naturally we demolished the entire bag so on Saturday I had no sweets at all.

It wasn't until I got back home on Saturday evening, tired and craving something sugary to eat, that I saw Pamela had left a replacement bag of sweets (and some chocolate) on the dining table. It was no exaggeration to say I almost cried with joy at the lovely gift my kind sister had left me....

....it's the little things you know :)
