Farewell No. 56

On Wednesday I made a final trip back to Dartmouth Square as the house was being cleared out for the final time. No 56 had been a fixture in my life for years, since college and beyond, and as a grateful tenant I have nothing but happy memories of the house and all the people I lived with over those years.

Kathryn was also there, helping her father to clear out all the accumulated, and inherited, clutter which included 5 stereo systems, a couple of clothes horses, some poker chips, a set of soccer bibs, a sewing kit, a tent, a UFO lamp, a crystal badminton trophy won by someone (we both couldn't remember who) and a 'fetching' Microsoft Windows coffee table.

Truly the end of an era...thank you Dartmouth Square :)
