Awards night

Am in recovery mode from last night's IJMS Doctor Awards in the Four Seasons Hotel. Having the news confirmed to me a mere 24 hours before said event that (a) I was attending as Reality Surgery representative, (b) it was black tie and (b) I was presenting an award was a bit disconcerting to say the least, but luckily I found a lovely dress and didn't trip up on the way to the stage.

I also had the added excitment of having my photo taken with the Minister for Health Mary Harney.

It's not the Oscars I know, but we all have to start somewhere.
