Old Alex Art Exhibition

To any locals reading this....I'll be there on Sunday morning for a couple of hours....hangover permitting of course :)

There is a great line-up of talent exhibiting and I know that Eoin O'Connor (one of the featured artists) is fantastic - that's his painting of a cow on the flyer. He has a studio down in Aughrim and his paintings are brilliant. Perhaps his cow portraits appeal to my agrarian roots.....but I think they are wonderful...

You can take the girl out of the farm, but obviously you can't take the farm out of the girl :)
