Another hockey season has started...

....and last night we played the Leinster U18 girls team in a friendly pre-season match.

God, I felt old; especially when they were all discussing their Junior Cert* results (due out today) after the match......

...but I did manage to score the 2 goals in our 2-0 win, so there's life in old dog yet :)


* For my American friends: Junior Cert - a series of exams taken by 'kids' (aged approx. 15/16 yrs) in 3/4th year of 'high school'. Called the Inter Cert in my day, ie long ago.
