Tim Tams

Oh joy! In Dunnes Stores last week and spotted Tim Tams in the biscuit aisle!!

Why the excitement? Well, these chocolate sandwich biscuits are pure brilliance and remind me of my time in Australia. Also they are the best biscuits to have when drinking tea or coffee. Forget dunking, Tim Tams are the way to go. You bite off a small piece of each end of the biscuit and use it like a straw to suck your tea/coffee. The chocolate filling melts, leaving a lovely warm chocolate biscuit...hmmmm, lovely...

Critics may dub them the 'poor man's Penguin*' but I can tell you there is nothing nicer than slurping your tea through a Tim Tam.
